You may have noticed a new look around these parts. Last week, we unveiled our new refreshed look here on the blog, as well as across the rest of the website. One of the areas we’re excited to showcase is our client case study work in the “Our Work” section. Users can now take a more in-depth look at many of our recent and past client campaigns.
One of the recent additions to the library of case studies is an animated video we created in tandem with FVM Strategic Communications to illustrate the value of CommVault’s Simpana enterprise data management software. That’s a bit of mouthful, I know. Exactly the reason CommVault was looking for a way to explain some complex and fairly abstract concepts in a stylized and accessible medium.
Inspired by the opening credits from Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me if You Can, the FVM team hoped to capture a similarly approachable and vintage feel that would communicate the sprit of the Simpana software. To achieve this look, Magnet worked hand-in-hand with FVM Strategic Communications to craft a visual storyboard that would express the CommVault Simpana value proposition in a slick, stylized animated format filled with motion and energy. Magnet worked closely with an animator to bring to life the abstract concepts of the Simpana software in a fun and accessible format.
CommVault and FVM were universally thrilled with the finished product, posting it to the company’s YouTube channel and immediately setting to work on additional collaborations with Magnet.
