BlackRock needed a way for their plan sponsors to to educate people on defined contributions and how to increase them. They wanted this content to be engaging, easy to understand, and as tailored as possible to each individual’s current knowledge on defined contribution.
Magnet Media partnered to build a digital content experience which enabled BlackRock’s 401K plan sponsors to educate their participants and increase their defined contributions. This animated, interactive experience yielded hundreds of unique end-solutions depending on how participants answered questions throughout their interactive journey.
BlackRock was recognized by Pensions and Investments for “Using videos to empower Gen X, Gen Y employees on retirement goals”.
The interactive experience was sent to a group of 6,000 BlackRock employees with the goal of driving employees to increase their 401k contributions.
• Of the 6,000 emails, there were 1,218 unique plays
• 74% completion rate
• Of 902 viewers that made it through the video, 58.2% took action and increased their 401k contribution
