Ball Park, the owners of the famous hot dog brand, were promoting their new hamburger patties with a Facebook competition, “Burgers Across America,” that encouraged fans to submit their personal burger recipes. To increase awareness of the product and encourage engagement with the competition, Ball Park wanted three videos where each would show a former NFL player presenting his own burger recipe and encouraging fans to submit their own. The players would represent three different American regions: the Southwest, South, and Northeast. The total turn-around time for the entire production of the videos was very tight, as Ball Park needed the videos to be done in time to launch with the contest’s Facebook app.
Magnet Media oversaw the complete execution and production of the three videos. In just three weeks, Magnet organized production crews to set up shoots in the homes of NFL players in three different states—Florida, New Jersey, and Texas. Shoots were done within four-hour windows to accommodate the busy schedules of the players. All shooting was completed in just four business days. Considering the turn around time, Magnet was able to produce quality videos with incredibly high production values.
Ball Park was very happy with the final results, especially given the tight deadline involved. Together, the three videos have over 1,200 views on YouTube, and have inspired a several comments, Likes, and shares on the Facebook page.
