After the success of more than 70 mini-documentaries for the Get Your Business Online initiative, Google hired Magnet Media to produce a new set of videos showing Spanish-speaking small business owners who have used Google to increase their company’s online presence. To raise awareness of the program, Google wanted the videos to support launch the Spanish version of the website.
Magnet sent Spanish-speaking production crews to Los Angeles, California to interview Vision Electric Wholesale, an electrical and lighting store, and Austin, Texas to interview Roots and Rhythms, a cultural arts and music program for childrem. Magnet used an in-house, Spanish-speaking crew for post-production and lent its knowledge of digital video best practices to provide publishing recommendations.
Google was very pleased with the videos, and used them to launch the Spanish version of the Get Your Business Online website. The videos remain on the website to provide inspiration to other small businesses. Magnet Media continues to be a part of Google’s growing GYBO initiative.
