Cisco aids Puerto Rico

To get their workforce excited and involved in the company's relief efforts, Cisco collaborated with Magnet to create a documentary video.

Cisco, a world leader in networking for the internet, believes in creating positive outcomes on a global scale. After Hurricane Maria ravaged Puerto Rico in 2017, they stepped into action. Cisco teamed up with NetHope for Puerto Rico’s emergency response. The brand wanted help informing its employees about the importance of the initiative.

Magnet collected and filmed the stories of Cisco employees volunteering to have a positive impact in Puerto Rico.

The documentary video needed a quick turnaround to have a maximum effect on the humanitarian efforts. Magnet worked with tight deadlines to accelerate the video editing process and showed flexibility in review rounds to maximize the number of times the Cisco team provided feedback. The strong collaboration between the Magnet team and Cisco resulted in a powerful visual asset.

Magnet Media also created a guidelines playbook to help Cisco employees capture relief efforts in a consistent visual manner, allowing the content to be used for future internal communication purposes.

The video was shown at Cisco’s annual employee conference and positively received by senior management.
