Although J.P. Morgan stands as one of the leading brands in the financial services sector, it was not always viewed as tech-driven or innovative. J.P. Morgan sought new messaging to shift client and prospective customers' perspectives, and turned to Magnet to tell their leadership story in cash management services and tech innovation.
Magnet designed a series to reach two audiences: prospects who needed to better understand J.P. Morgan's adoption of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, and general audiences who were interested in learning more about these timely topics. For the first, the goal was to engage prospects and move them through the buyer's journey; for the second, the goal was to present J.P. Morgan as a tech innovator.
Each episode covered a specific technology-related topic relevant to the bank, including open banking, blockchain, and machine learning. They were all shot with six cameras to achieve a cinematic feel, and strategically produced to stand alone as self-contained, substantive stories.
This video series was heralded by the participants and bankers who viewed it as one of the most engaging productions released by the firm.
