Cheers to Silicon Valley Bank
How do you ensure that businesses in a niche industry like wine making associate your name with their needs?

The bank wanted to ensure that both new and established wineries viewed them as the experts in wine industry financing and would turn to SVB first for their banking needs. With Magnet as partners, they set out to create a thoughtful and engaging Next2 series about SVB’s Wine Division clients and the relationship the bank has fostered with them.
SVB’s in-house wine experts have an unparalleled appreciation for the rewards that winemaking offers, including the challenges that winemakers face, and the resulting video series reflected that empathy and expertise. Magnet spent several days shooting video and photography in the Napa and Sonoma regions. Four vineyard owners shared their views on innovation and spoke with us about how SVB’s experts had supported their highly specialized business needs.
We produced multiple micro documentaries over several months, interviewing each client multiple times and spending days on-site to capture the essence of their businesses and personalities. We leveraged drone cinematography and spoke with multiple family members at each winery to create a series of in-depth, emotionally evocative portraits. Instead of generating stiff, corporate testimonials, we approached this project like true filmmakers and journalists so we could reflect the multi-faceted stories we unearthed.
