The Plug predicts what's next

For The Plug, a tech newsletter covering Black startups and entrepreneurs, hosting an event couldn't be an ordinary experience.

It was crucial for The Plug to deliver a high-value and differentiated virtual experience for attendees and sponsors at their live summit. Cutting through the noise of performative statements and promises, The Plug wanted to be real about the Black workforce, leadership, and entrepreneurship, and connect with their community over candid but virtual conversations at their Evolution of Next experience. To stage their live summit, they looked to Magnet.

Magnet scripted a cohesive storyline connecting speakers, sponsors, and attendees across social media and the virtual summit.

From navigating the platforms, to creating an interactive run of show, to leveraging our partnership network to make sponsor introductions, Magnet redefined the virtual event experience for The Plug and its community.

The final experience came together as a full-day virtual event filled with networking opportunities, thoughtful discussions, panels, and keynotes distilling inclusive socio-technical representation across industries.

The skillfully crafted programming, conversations, and connections continued beyond the event, and left attendees and speakers calling for more opportunities for virtual interactions.
